Education Made the Difference by Nyada Yoda Baldeh is an autobiography of a village boy from Kerewan Samba Sera in the Central River Region. Nyada Yoda Baldeh had a successful education, considering when it started, where it all started, how it all started and what it took to get to where he is today. He had the rare opportunity of attending one of the best primary schools and one of the best high schools in the Gambia as well as the best universities in a great country, the United States of America.
As a result of this formal education and several on-the-job training courses, many other life improvement opportunities opened up for him: his getting better jobs increased, which enabled him to get a home, raise a family and give his children the best education available in the country. Baldeh’s horizon of the world in terms of knowing and understanding people, management and development widened greatly. He also developed a considerable amount of self-confidence and willingness to take on big challenges in life and is well respected by people that he worked with.
